Two hundred children of all ages and backgrounds in Marin County will need foster and/or adoptive parents this year. Marin County individuals and families of all ages, ethnicities, compositions and backgrounds are urgently needed. You may be married or single, male or female, renter or homeowner, working or at home. Training, support, subsidy and vast opportunities for personal and professional growth are available. If you have a stable life and a desire to help, a child could be found for you.
Learn about becoming a foster or adoptive parent at an information meeting offered by the County of Marin Department of Health and Human Services Thursday, July 22, 7-9 p.m. at the Division of Social Services across from the Civic Center, 10 North San Pedro Rd., San Rafael, Room 1018 at the north end of the building.
