Summer Jobs On The Web; High Tech To High Adventure

www.summerjobs.com Enters Its Third Summer on the Web.

ASPEN, Colorado, May, 7 -- Www.summerjobs.com announces free web job listings and job searching for the third summer in a row. The Summer Jobs Web features 650 employers in 29 different countries offering jobs and internships in camps, parks, resorts, hotels and worldwide businesses.

The site was developed three years ago by Fishnet New Media (www.ahoy.com) and has evolved into the most popular web resource for summer employment (www.hot100.com). Fishnet NewMedia operates the site with Jeff Allen, and together they are committed to providing unique, fun and unforgettable job opportunities for students.

Thanks to www.summerjobs.com a few lucky students will spend this summer guiding hot air balloons throughout Europe. Others will teach English in China or intern in D.C. professional associations. The Summer Jobs Web doesn't only offer jobs for students, but is also a resource for seasonal resort workers or teachers looking for an interesting way to spend a summer breaks.

Employers can post their summer job opportunities for free at the site using online forms. Karen Meister Hodson of Camp JCC in Florida received 15 applications a day from her Summer Jobs Web listing and was able to fill her entire camp staff for the summer before the middle of April. When positions are filled employers can delete their jobs at www.summerjobs.com by using a username and password provided when they added their jobs.

The Summer Jobs Web site is one of several jobs sites developed by Fishnet NewMedia. Other specialized job-hunt sites include the two-year-old www.overseasjobs.com, a collaboration with the British newspaper Overseas Jobs Express and Jeff Allen that provides hundreds of jobs abroad, and the new Resort Jobs Web at www.resortjobs.com, another venture with Jeff Allen that features jobs in resorts worldwide. This fall they will be opening www.internjobs.com, a site dedicated to student internships in the U.S. and abroad.

The Summer Jobs Web is completely supported by advertising revenues from sponsors who want to target the student market. Please direct all advertising and press inquiries to Jeff Allen at (970) 544-5461 or by email to [email protected]
