Stay The Course And Join Bush On The Rocks
By Edward W. Miller, MD

"We fight because we are free men who don't sleep under oppression. We want to restore freedom to our nation. Just as you lay waste to our nation, So shall we lay waste to yours.. Your security is in your own hands." Osama Bin Laden, (on Al Jazeera 11-01-2004 )
"In the Iraq War .... the Israelis played us for a sucker. They got what they wanted - the destruction of Saddam Hussein's government without spending a dollar of their money or a drop of their blood."
Charlie Reese 12 Aug. 2005
Americans are becoming aware that we and the British are losing the wars in Iraq and in Afghanistan., both of which have become guerrilla conflicts. The Iraqis have added a civil war. October saw the loss of overfour US soldiers per day while the civilian killings increased exponentially.
History tells us guerrilla tactics, are difficult to beat.. Americans were driven from Viet Nam by Ho Chi Minh's communist guerrillas Castro's guerrillas with Che Guevara drove Batista from Cuba. Muslim guerrillas drove 450,000 French military out of Algeria, the Russians from Afghanistan, the Americans out of Somalia; and Beirut, and the Israelis twice from Lebanon. The British were driven from their Palestinian Mandate by Menachem Begin's Irgun guerrillas and his Stern gang. George Washington's patriot army employed guerrilla tactics against the British, much to the dismay of King George III.

Repeated polls in both the US and Britain show lessening support for the Iraq and Afghan occupations , and even our military are questioning their chance of a decisive win.

The costs in dollars along has been horrific: According to the National Priorities Project, as of October 17th, Congress had by then voted $335 Billion for the war in Iraq, having also added $34.8 Billion to the Homeland Security Budget on September 30th.

As early as June, 2006 US Military commanders in the field in Iraq admitted in private reports to the Pentagon the war "is lost" and that the US military was unable to stem the mounting violence killing 1,000 Iraqi civilians/month. /(

Four months later, on October 12th, a day when 157 Iraqis, and 2 Americans were killed Across Iraq, Britain's army chief, Geneal Rivhard Dannett, their Army's most senior figure, ruffled the feathers of both Blair and Bush by stating in an interview with Sarah Sands of the DAILY MAIL that Blair's policies " were naive", adding that the British military " Should get ourselves out sometime soon, because our presence exacerbates the security problem."

October had seen the bloodiest days in Iraq. On October 3rd the US military reported that sectarian violence and attacks on coalition forces in Baghdad had increased 28% ..."despite the nearly 4-month security campaign by US and Iraqi forces."

Britain had lost 119 troops since the March 2003 invasion while the US loss totals over 2,750 (Chronicle News Services, London). Unable to control the streets of Baghdad around our "Green Zone, the military tried curfews, and failing, began to isolate the City, using earth dams, bulldozed up on main streets with razor-wire barriers. In Fallujah, a city of 300,000, with 36,000 of its 50,000 homes destroyed by the US military, half the city's population is displaced, living in tents. No wonder the Iraqis hate us! Bob Woodward in his new book: STATE OF DENIAL put a big dent in the Bush administration's claims of success in Iraq. In an recent interview on PBS, Woodward said that the US is facing 800 to 900 attacks a week from Sunni Jihad "Terrorists" alone.

We need to be disabused of the idea that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have anything to do with "fighting terrorism," or "establishing democracy in the Mideast" Americans don't understand that the Bush II war in Iraq has been waged, not so much for US interests, but largely for Israel. Cheney and his oil friends just tagged along. Bush's seizure of Iraq and Saddam Hussein, was encouraged by Cheney's oil friends who promised that Iraqi Oil would pay for "Operation Iraqi Freedom," The SF Chronicle (10 Mar. 2003 ) reported a company tied to our Vice President had won a Pentagon contract "for advice on rebuilding Iraq oil fields" even before the Bush II invasion.

Much of the political and media groundwork leading up to the war was carefully manufactured and presented by the so-called "Neocons" in Washington, men whose political interests lay with Israel and its expansionist Likud (now Kadima) Party policies.

Don Deane, our publisher recently printed the full report on AIPAC and the undercover machinations of our Zionist lobbies aspresented to the press by two distinguished professors: John Mearsheimer at the University of Chicago and Stephen Walt at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. With that report an elixir, it is easy to understand how our Zionist Neocons pushed a compliant Bush II, along with a misinformed American public into accepting a second invasion of Saddam's Country.

Our Israeli Lobby has embraced prominent Christian evangelicals like Gary Bauer, Jerry Falwell, Ralph Reed and Pat Robertson, who, with their nation-wide radio networks have launched a religious crusade for Israel against the Muslim peoples. This religious-political campaign reminds one of who, on November 27, 1095, at the Council of Clermont, preached his First Crusade, rallying European Christians to fight the Saracens (Muslims) who had seized Jerusalem

"Staying the course" the latest Bush pitch, after "WMD", "ties to Osama and his Al Qeda" have proved false, is increasingly more dangerousand more expensive. Bush has lost his compass, and Washington's recent support of Israel's savagery in Lebanon increased the anti-US rage of over a billion Muslims.

A hidden impetus behind Bush's War was revealed in the March/April 2003 magazine, MOTHER JONES, by investigative reporter Robert Dreyfuss: who said the United States "has steadily been accumulating military muscle in the Gulf... to consolidate its might in a place that will be a fulcrum of the world's balance of power for decades to come."

Dreyfuss quoted James Akins, former US diplomat and once ambassador to Saudi Arabia: "It's the Kissinger Plan," said Akins. "I thought it had been killed, but it's back." According to Akins, the plan to seize Arab oil was initiated in 1975 in a series of well-placed articles in such magazines as Harpers, Business Week, and Commentary.

Dreyfuss noted: "The idea began to gain favor among a feisty group of hard-line, pro Israelites who played important roles in President Reagan'sDefense Department." Lead by Richard Perle, then chair of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board, and previous Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz. This group "occupied several dozen key posts in the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department."

Dreyfuss also noted a Washington think tank developed: "Project for the New American Century." Members then included Richard, Perle, strategist Robert Kagan, William Kristol, NEW REPUBLIC publisher, Martin Peretz, and ex-CIA Director James Woolsey and were "tied to a web of similar neo-conservative, pro-Israel organizations.

George Bisharat, Hastings Law professor, in a SF Chronicle column, wrote: "The real reason we are going to war is the messianic vision of a small but influential group of strongly pro-Israel hawks within the Bush administration. Their goal is unilateral global domination through absolute military superiority." The group's leader, Richard Perle: "had helped author a study for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhu which described Saddam Hussein's overthrow as an important Israeli strategic objective."

In a 2004 article:, writer James Petras noted: "The FBI investigation into Israel espionage agents in the Pentagon is part of a major struggle between prominent Zionists in the Pentagon and the US Security apparatus. Ever since the Bush regime came into power there has been a fierce... war between Pentagon Zionists ...their military collaborators... and the professional military and intelligence apparatus."

Petras added: "From 9/11/.. to the invasion of Iraq, the Pentagon Zionists... marginalized the CIA, and established their own intelligence services to "cook the data." They pushed through the doctrine of sequential wars, beginning with Afghanistan and Iraq and projecting wars with Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries. "Petras adds: "It's clear that Israeli agents... infest the top echelon of the Pentagon."

A day by day observation of Israel's quiet insinuation into Washington's intelligence, defense, planning and political systems was offered by retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, Karen Kwaitkowski (see Global Outlook, Issue 8 pg. 15-20). Kwaitkowski wrote: "From May 2002 until February 2003, I observed firsthand the formation of the Pentagon's Office of Special Planning (OSP) and watched the latter stages of the Neoconservative capture of the policy-intelligence nexus in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq... I watched Neoconservative agenda bearers within the OSP... promulgate what were in fact falsehoods, both to Congress and the Executive Office of the President."

Kwaitkowski described in detail how longtime professionals in important Defense Department offices were replaced by agents from Jewish-orientated, agenda-bearing think tanks "including the Middle East Research Institute, the Washington Institute form Mideast Policy, and the Jewish Institute for International Affairs." Adding : "That the Pentagon was implementing its own foreign policy had not yet occurred to me."

Christopher Bolyn, writing for the American Free Press (7 Nov. 2005) noted that Neocon' plans to have US attack Iraq originated in Isrrael. He Quotes Israel Shahak's translation from the Hebrew of "The Zionist Plan for the Middle East," a plan written by Oded Yinon an official with the Foreign Ministry of Israel, and published in a journal of the World Zionist Organization in 1982. The plan calls for the dissolution or balkanization of both Syria and Iraq."

Yinon wrote in 1982: "Iraq's dissolution is even more important for us than that of Syria. Iraqi power constitutes the greatest threat to Israel." Yinon's plan was to break up Iraq into.." .provinces along ethic/religious lines ... Basra, Baghdad and Musul, and Shiite areas in the South will separate from Sunni a nd Kurdish North..."

"This October 11th, Iraq's Shiite-dominated parliament approved a law which enabled provinces to join together to form autonomous regions, in spite of vehement opposition by Sunni Arab leaders who said it could splinter the republic and disadvantage the minority Sunni Arab population... Abdul Aziz al-Akim, leader of the dominant Shiite bloc...cast the result as victory for democracy " (New York Times, 12 Oct., 2006).

Thus, Iraq's Washington-dominated Parliament is actually carrying out an agenda, published way back in 1982 by Zionist writer Oded Yinon.

Responding to this Parliamentary vote, on October 17th, Saddam Hussein, in a letter to his people written from his jail cell, warned them not to let themselves be divided into political districts, but to stick together as a country, adding that "Zionist Israel was the force behind this fragmentation plot."

Recalling our troops NOW from both Iraq and Afghanistan should be first on America's agenda. Impeaching both Bush and Cheney, a second, and rescuing Washington from the political power of AIPAC, an important third.
