Islamic Radicals Are Bad Guys
Islamic totalitarians have explicitly stated their goal: to forcibly impose Islamic law around the world. To succeed, they will continue to attack those parts of the world that oppose their "divine mission." The United States, Israel, Canada, England, India, and any other country that places the least bit of value on freedom and progress, will continue to be targets.
The freer nations need to recognize the real nature of this enemy: an ideology that demands complete submission to Allah, either voluntarily or at the point of a knife. Do you wait for the knife to slit your throat or do you fight back and defend yourself?

The combined military strength of the freer countries is more than enough to eliminate decisively and definitively the assorted collection of murderous terrorists and the governments that support them financially or ideologically. There is no need for an endless global conflict. What there is a need for is a recognition that those of us living in freer countries have the right to take any necessary actions to defend ourselves--and that our lives are at stake.

Special Prosecutor Playing Games
Let us get this straight. Are we to understand that the chief mentor in the White House, who orchestrates every political move in the Oval Office and therefore obviously had a hand in the leaking of highly classified information about an undercover CIA agent to the media is not going to be indicted on the grounds that he initially did not remember committing such a crime-but wait apparently, he does now?

Are we to understand that our relentless, no nonsense, straight shooting "Special " Prosecutor, after grappling with this open and shut case for two years-has finally decided that he has no case against this seemingly irrefutable suspect?

And are we further to understand that our celebrated "Elliot Ness" preferred to announce his earth shaking decision to the lawyers of the defendant rather than the anxiously waiting, source of his power, the American people?

And do we understand that all our Special Prosecutor could say, when asked by the media of his decision, was no comment? There is something seriously fishy about this thing that we are being made to understand.

If this is true, we would have heard it first from the Special Prosecutor. But if it is not true, our courageous, forthright crime fighter would have reacted with understandable indignation. Such a development puts his reputation in serious jeopardy.

We do not have to possess a notable legal mind to conclude here that some people are obviously playing a game. Could the game be about floating a trial balloon in order to determine how the public will react should the suspect involved be summarily acquitted?

If this is a game, who are the players? The Special Prosecutor appears to be a player with his "no comments" response to a querying media. It is a decision that he is alleged to have made. How can he say "no comments"? It is either he did or he did not.

The American people have the right to know what is going on here. The question before us now is not only about the treasonous crime of leaking classified information about an undercover CIA agent when our country is at war but the leaking of questionable information as well, about an on going investigation concerning that treasonous crime. Who else can the American people trust if the Special Prosecutor assigned to up hold the law appears to be involved in some kind of a game that the defendants are playing?

Bush Blocks Investigation of Treason
The Bush team has vilified the NY Times (and others) as treasonous for their exposure of unauthorized wire taps.

Even simple research reveals that this practice has been known to the terrorists for years, and its only consequence has been a dangerous encroachment onto our liberties--this has been endorsed by credentialed intelligence experts, such as Richard Clarke. It is now apparent that they have used this topic to nullify the press, and to distract attention from some pressing issues.

How can Bush claim sincerity about tracking terrorism after trying to block the 9/11 investigation, and then smearing Senator Max Cleland, a triple amputee Vietnam Vet, as "unpatriotic" for sponsoring it?

Training Iraqi Soldiers
The United States National Guard comprises almost half of the U. S. armed forces fighting in Iraq. After training on weekends in a local armory for a few months, the troops have been sent across the pond to defend the Iraqi people from fighting among themselves. Nothing has changed in Iraq since Jesus walked.

It is reported that 250,000 Iraqi soldiers have been trained for over three years now and yet, according to the U. S. military, they are still unable to take charge and defend their own country from infiltrating militias. During the same time period in WW II citizen draftees with 8 weeks training recaptured the world from Hitler and Tojo. Something wrong here?

The Bush administration created the chaos and quagmire in Iraq and the Iraqis should have the courage to tell them to get out so they can save their country from further slaughter. The coalition's very presence is the irritant.

Some 250,000 Iraqi soldiers have been sent to school for 3 years now in learning the "art to kill." The U. S. has prepared their lunch, held their hands, and walked them to school. It's time for Mom and Pop to let go. It's their sandbox to defend from now on.

Emos - DO NOT Try this in Hot Weather!
If you do, it'll be one less thing to go into whining self-pity about, in order to control people by making them feel sorry for you, while thousands die world-wide of AIDS, malnutrition, etc.

You get the picture you: self-absorbed , sweet, sorrowful, little social black holes, you.

Theeere, that's better -
Mindful guilt for the emos - and a long-overdue exorcism of mindless emo guilt, for the rest of us.

Here's what not to do during a heat wave:

DO NOT avoid cow's milk products - full-fat or otherwise! The increased fine capillary circulation will really help you cool off - a lot easier than those around you who refuse to give-up the cow teat, even in the hottest, most humid disgusting weather.

Got milk?
Try this:
And remember, God gave us whining pussies in order that we might feel compassion and kick their sorry asses into adult responsibility.

And, as usual - God will not do for us, that which is one hell of a lot more fun to do ourselves.

I know, let's hunt-down Daniel "Had a Bad Day" Powter - and duct tape him to The Ovaltine Kids!

It's the perfect back story for an absolutely explosive fake reality show.

Thousands Of Americans Fleeing Israeli Bombs

It's incredible to hear the double talk coming from American politicians speaking out against terrorism! With thousands of Americans fleeing for their lives to escape the terror of Israeli bombs dropping overhead, it's time for US Politicians to wake up and pull the plug on any further economic or military support to the Israeli War Machine!

Down with all politicians supporting Israel, and the brutal bombing attacks that have been placing American lives at risk!

In addition to this current madness going on, the White House had the nerve to promote a policy to charge Americans for assistance to escape the Israeli bombing campaign!

Are they insane!
What a world!!

Lebanon Government And Hezbollah Must Go

President Bush is urging Israel to preserve the fragile government of Lebanon, which was recently chosen in democratic elections supported by Bush himself. But Israel should do exactly the opposite.

Hezbollah, the Iran-sponsored Islamic terror group now under attack by Israel in Lebanon, is part of the Lebanese government. Twenty-three of Hezbollah's members were elected to parliament, and two of its members were given cabinet positions.

A government that tolerates the operations of a terror group within its country, that does nothing to stop it from launching rockets on its neighbor's cities, and that further allows its presence in the parliament and cabinet, has no legitimacy at all.

If the Lebanese are ever to have a legitimate government and lasting peace with Israel, they will have to show that they, like Israel, will not tolerate Hezbollah any longer.

Mayor Louis J. Barletta To The Rescue!
This is an Open Letter that was forwarded to us from one of our Patriots. We think this town has a lot of guts to take a stand on illegal immigration. There are 12 million illegal immigrants in the US and probably about that many Americans that are unemployed or have had their jobs downgraded. Illegal immigration is just one of the many issues surrounding the loss of jobs for Americans, but it is creating hardships for our workers, our communities and our great country.

Thank you Mayor Barletta and the Great Town of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

An Open Letter from Mayor Lou Barletta:

I believe the United States of America is the greatest nation on Earth. People who are in this country have an incredible amount of opportunities and blessings. But some people have taken advantage of America's openness and tolerance. Some come to this country and refuse to learn English, creating a language barrier for city employees. Others enter the country illegally and use government services by not paying taxes or by committing crime on our streets, further draining resources here in Hazleton.

Illegal immigration leads to higher crime rates, contributes to overcrowded classrooms and failing schools, subjects our hospitals to fiscal hardship and legal residents to substandard quality of care, and destroys our neighborhoods and diminishes our overall quality of life.

The City of Hazleton is empowered and mandated by the people of Hazleton to abate the nuisance of illegal immigration by aggressively prohibiting and punishing the acts, policies, people and businesses that aid and abet illegal aliens. That is why I proposed the Illegal Immigration Relief Act.

Part of this ordinance, if enacted, would punish companies that hire illegal immigrants by denying them permits, making it harder for them to renew permits and forcing their loss of city business.

Another part would hold landlords accountable. Because people moving into the city naturally require a place to sleep, our landlords are our first line of defense. Landlords who rent to illegal immigrants-that is, who rent to people without checking their documentation, may be fined $1,000.00 for every illegal immigrant staying on their properties.

The final part of this ordinance makes English the official language of Hazleton. All city documents will only be available in English. Those applying for a permit would have to speak English. While our emergency services will never be denied to anyone because of a language barrier, every other aspect of city business will be conducted only in English. Let me be clear, this ordinance is intended to make Hazleton one of the most difficult places in the US for illegal immigrants.

This measure is not racist because it does not target one particular race. The Illegal Immigration Relief Act is intended to deter and punish any illegal immigration in the City of Hazleton. Requiring the use of English does not target any other language; it merely states that no matter what language you prefer to speak at home, English will be spoken when you conduct business with Hazleton officials.

Illegal Immigration is a drain on city resources. Every domestic incident, every traffic accident, every noise complaint, each time we send our police department, fire department or code enforcement officer to respond, it costs taxpayer dollars.

If the City of Hazleton began publishing official documents or conducting business in a second language, how would we respond when someone asks us to use a third, or fourth language?

Recent crimes - the shooting on Chestnut Street, the discharge of firearms at the Pine Street Playground, and high profile drug busts - have involved illegal immigrants. Sadly, some of those allegedly involved in those crimes were detained by other law enforcement officials over the years, but were somehow allowed to remain in this country. They eventually migrated into Hazleton, where they helped create a sense of fear in the good, hardworking residents who are here legally.

This ordinance does not roll back the welcome mat to those who are legally in the United States. This country was built on the backs of legal immigrants. My own great grandparents came to this country seeking a better life. Rather, this ordinance seeks to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into Hazleton. They are not welcome here!

To the residents of Hazleton, I say thank you for your continued support. Hazleton is moving forward and becoming an even better place to live. To our recently arrived legal immigrants, I say welcome. I personally wish you all the best. With hard work and determination, the United States and Hazleton can be a place where your dreams come true. And to illegal immigrants and those who would hire or abet them in any way, I say your time is up. You are no longer welcome.

If you support this measure, please click this link to email us your support. You can also show your support by attending the City Council meeting on Thursday, June 15th @ 7:00 P.M. where this ordinance will be presented to Council for approval. The next council meeting where the second reading will take place is July 13th @ 7:00 P.M. Please mail your petition in before that date to show your support. You may also contact my office at 570-459-4910.

Thank you and God Bless America.

Using The Train
People will use the train when the "improvements" are finished!

Since only a HOV lane is being added, the traffic jams will still be there.

HOV lanes are not getting people to car pool (2 people in the same family is not car pooling), and if the supervisors get their way then the rich yuppies in BMW's will be able to buy their way on the HOV lanes.

People are and will spend hours stressed out on the freeway, when they can spend 45 minutes on a nice relaxing train ride.

Get the trains going, and then we will see.

Debbie Does Descent
Last Thursday, as I was walking past the San Anselmo Town Library a few minutes after 3 p.m., a friend invited me to go have coffee. Why not? It's July, let's have coffee!

The Library was closed. I was too late to look at the planning application for my neighbor's extreme parcel makeover, or get a copy of the election results that imposed the Pension Override Tax. It was too hot to walk the distance to the temporary location of the Police Department after it was abandoned to the depths of eight inches of flood waters in December 2005.

My friend is a bit scattered. He constantly starts one conversation about the Town and bounces to four other subjects and from there takes off on a tangent. All of his subjects are different, but they all resolve around one person, Debra Stutsman and her influential transformation from Town Clerk to Town Manager.

Town Manager Stutsman, now writing the Town Newsletter, also revolves around Debbie. Manager Stutsman reports that she frequently receives pleasant greetings on the street from community members who offer her their support during this trying time.

I like Debbie. In an archive of photos from the 50th birthday party at the Log Cabin, Louise and Debbie are captured in genuine smiles. Years later, I say hello to Manager Stutsman on the street and compliment when appropriate. Lately, the appropriateness to compliment has become a wasteland and smiles have become waxen grins.

What I do not support is the reluctance of Town Manager Stutsman to look beyond local taxation as the immediate and permanent solution for the debilitating fiscal consequence of the Town's gluttonous defined benefit pension appetite.

Town Treasurer Roberta Robertson said that the Town cannot legally reduce its pension benefit for its current employees, only for new hires after July 1, 2006. She cited no legal authority and when I asked her to cite authority, she snarled. She is a diminutive woman. It was a Smurf-snarl.

If the San Anselmo taxpayers had known that the Council can only increase and never decrease Employee Pension Benefit, the council chambers would have been filled to capacity when the pension was enhanced during the last five decades including the pivotal years of 2000, 2002, and 2004.

Why wouldn't elected council representatives, including Judith Hodgens, Paul Chignell, John Colteaux, George Buckle, Peter Kilkus, Jeff Kroot, Carla Overberger, or Peter Breen/Ian Roth have advised the taxpayers of the budgetary impact of their decision? Does anyone question the unsolicited proclamation uttered by Town Treasurer Robertson?

The key to the Pension Benefits in San Anselmo is who pays. Are documents on file that state that the Town must forever burden taxpayers with the cost to pay 100% of both the Town and Employee share of the CalPers Defined Benefit Pension Plan?

Town Manager Stutsman, despite the voices along the street, has not been inclined to find documents that will resolve this legal question. She is a benefactor of the existing Pension Plan that provides her with 81% of the last year's salary at the close of thirty years of public service.

The Town's current pension calculation which is based on the last year's salary provides an opportunity for "pension spiking," an unnatural salary increase that increases pension payout. The State of California is just now realizing their multi-billion cost due to "pension spiking."

Is it possible that only a Defined Benefit Pension Plan could cause frozen position, lay offs, additional closed days at the Library, unreasonably reduced access to Town Hall offices and staff, and blacken the already darkened night sky of Christmas? No.

Only deficient and specific direction at the Town Manager and Town Council levels could exacerbate the State's fiscal calamity of more than five ago into a perennial morass of excuse after excuse. Many small towns and mid-sized cities have successfully prevailed under severe budget downslides. Town of San Anselmo officials respond as though there is no end in sight. And if there is an end, it is the end of San Anselmo.

Coffee house employees are sweeping us out the door and we notice that the lights at Town Hall offices are off. I remember that at this time of year the staff could be seen working to prepare the Annual Budget. No one is working at Town Hall on this night. Maybe the 2006-2007 Proposed Town Budget is slated to fulfill its revenue projection through the old stand-by, increased local taxes.

My friend is a successful businessman and he recognizes the Town's flawed business enterprise and their unambiguous position to persist to deny equal citizen speech and protest.

The Proposed Fiscal Crisis Budget will be discussed during a Council meeting in August, just four months before the next wave of Town employee and management salary increases.

Create Fear And Start A War
Generalized fear is a source of power among many authoritarian leaders. A classic example is Fidel Castro who countless times through the decades has used the United States as a scapegoat, convincing the Cuban population of an eminent US invasion.

Many leaders use exaggerated fears of a "foreign" enemy as a basis for controlling the populace. Does this remind you of anyone? In the leadup to the Iraqi war Bush/Cheney and their media propaganda network used fear and WMD's and mushroom clouds as a political cover to drag America into war and entrench their power.

Without the constant exaggerated fear of terrorism, creating enemies where none existed, the Iraq war would never have happened.

Denial About The Middle East
To those in denial as to what is going on in the Middle East and to those heaping scorn on Israel for the current crisis.

First: Since its inception in 1948, Israel has sought peace with its neighbors, yet the Arab-world continues to work for Israel's destruction. At the forefront of the Arab consortium seeking the demise of Israel are the terrorist organizations of Hamas and Hezbollah.

Second: Lebanon and Palestine are being held hostage by Hezbollah and Hamas; Arab terrorists use the countries as staging grounds' for attacks against Israel. The current retaliation is a reaction to recent attacks.

Israeli Prime Minister Golda Mier saw the answer clearly when she said, "Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us."

Turn The Bush Administration Out
What's up with the war on terrorism? The Taliban of Afghanistan are fanatical and rigid but in the main are uninvolved in terrorism and are dispersed, though of late some are regrouping and training in the art of terror, and with this the increase in suicide bombings.

In Iraq, Saddam is gone from power but lawlessness, suffering and chaos has replaced his regime.

The attention of the Bush administration has turned to Iran and Korea: they are warned to change or face the wrath and might of the upholders of 'peace' and champions of liberty in the world.

What can be done by the world to keep America in check? The world must realize the nature of the problem. The US is led by men of nefarious intent which directs their actions and puts peace in jeopardy. They are power hungry on an international scale and threaten the peace of the world.

What can Americans do? Turn the White House cabal out of office over the next two elections.

No One Likes Us, Wonder Why?
Fortunately for the world North Korea's missile test was a failure. The problem however is that the United States is powerless to do anything about it. In the past America was a trusted nation in the world community that had the power to bring nations together and create a unified world consensus as to what to do about the world's crazy leaders. But that is no longer the case. America no longer has a trusted status in the world community because of our crazy leader.

In 2003 America invaded and occupied Iraq without the support and agreement of the world. In an act of defiance against United Nations authority we showed the world that we can do whatever we want. Then we started setting up secret prisons to torture people and declared that America will not follow the Geneva Conventions and honor international treaties that we have agreed to. Because of this America no longer has the trust of the world community and can not lead the would like it once had.

So now when we come crawling back to the United Nations calling for resolutions regarding nuclear proliferation we are neither respected nor trusted. We are in fact seen in the same light as Iran and North Korea as a nation with bombs that is out of control. There is a price to pay for thumbing our noses at the world community and we are now paying that price. Our military is overextended, our economy is weak, and no one likes us anymore.

I'm Marc Perkel - And I approved this message!

Playing An Old Game
China and North Korea are playing their old tricks while the US falls for it again.

The US State Department thinks that China is its best hope for reigning in North Korea. Meanwhile, China considers the US to be it chief rival and enemy. They are worried that the US will support Tibetan and Taiwanese independence and condemn China's atrocious record on human rights and political and religious freedom.

Therefore, whenever China feels threatened on any of these fronts it has North Korea make a scene while pretending to scold them. Actually, China created the North Korean regime and has sustained it all along. Recently, two prominent Canadians published an investigation confirming that China has been murdering imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners and selling their organs.

This has the potential to spawn further investigations and cause an international outcry. While the investigation was occurring North Korea began to prepare for a rocket launch. Two days before the reports' release, North Korea fired some rockets. China pretended to protest while threatening to veto any action in the UN Security Council.

The intention was to steal attention from the upcoming report and make sure that the US did not release a strong public condemnation. It worked pretty well because the US is begging China to help with North Korea but they never will because they already have exactly the situation they want. They are just seeing how long they can play the game until the US figures it out!

A lot of prayers were answered when the ex head of Enron Ken Lay "Kenny Boy" died of a heart attack at the age of 64. They should use a urinal for his headstone. Can you imagine how many peoples lives were turned upside down because of him. Lets not forget about ex CEO Jeffrey Skilling. Keep on praying!!!

Time To Act Against Our Fascist Government

Renaissance England fined people one full week's salary for each week they missed in church attendance. One Renaissance composer (William Byrd) was fined an entire year's salary for not having gone to church for one year. The people were subjected to religious doctrine set by each ruler, which changed as frequently as the change of the guard (i.e. change of kings/thrones). The text of the mass would be changed by each King, the doctrine people were expected to live by.

So, fast-forwarding to post 911 America... if Bush vetoes a bill on stem cell research based on his "religious" objection, what's next?

Are we going to see birth control disappearing from the pharmacies as "Religion" clobbers our individual right to choose our own path in life?

Are we going to have our religion chosen FOR us? Then, will the police come after us because we expressed a thought that was born of our own religion, or our own philosophy, which happened to be counter to Bush's or the current Dictator's?

JUST LOOK AT GREECE: Nobody was allowed to sing a certain song, on pain of jail, because it bashed the government.

CHINA: Tianenmen Square punishes those brave enough to be vocal. Families are only allowed to have so-and-so many children, by government law. Oh yes, of course there's GOOD reason for it: Over-population! Ahhhh but don't you see, that dictatorship is created based on every GOOD reason in the book? Including (drumroll) RELIGIOUS BELIEFS! KNOWLEDGE OF RIGHT AND WRONG! "ENFORCED" ON THE PEOPLE! THAT IS THE KEY WORD. REPEAT: (EN) "FORCED!"

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If our Congress does not hold our President in check, I suggest it is time to cut the apron strings, and to declare our independence before this Fascist government completely disables us, the people from speaking out. The time for that may be closer than people think. Time to act, not react!

Trashing A Small Town
Dear Editor,
I realize that owning the Point Reyes Light and being an editor must be wonderful for you. However, living in a small town and trashing the small town you live in, may be fun at first, but is bound to nip you in the heels. Thanks to your centerfold spread on the homeless that are allowed to camp on Bolinas beach, we now have homeless people flocking to our beach. Maybe you and your family, since you now live here, would like to come and help the community pick up after those you have "invited" to be here with us.

Perhaps when your children are older and participating in Western Weekend events, being taught to respect themselves and animals, perhaps then as they flip through the Light, hoping to see their photo with their cow, chicken, horse or goat, you could do a re-run of your 6-6-6 coverage of two devil worshipers eating a decapitated goat head.

If your wife's jewelry was ever stolen, go ahead and get the story from a cleaning company then print it, you can apologize to her later. Or Not.

It has been said that perception is reality. After reading the Light, how would you perceive our small town of Bolinas? Your disregard for this community has not gone unnoticed.

PS- Remember the sign.

We The Little People
On the night of September 10th, 2001, I was lulled to sleep by the comforting sounds of classical music on Public Broadcast television... I awoke to an airplane crashing into the Twin Towers at the foot of my aft cabin bed. I watched in horror, and by the time the first Tower hit the ground, (exactly in the fashion I had seen in the movie 'Independence Day', when meteors or lazers or something hit the high rise and vaporized it), I was in dry heaves. When the second tower collapsed, (as perfectly as the first), my only thoughts were "That looks 'just' like a controlled demolition", and when the third high rise, World Trade Center building #7, came down, later that day, I knew, (in my heart), that I had witnessed a great evil to America... three perfect demolitions...

I wanted to believe what everyone else believed, that 2 airplanes made those buildings fall down... yet I never saw a plane fly into building 7, it was the third high rise in HISTORY, to ever completely collapse from a 'fire'... the first 2, were the Twin Towers!

I couldn't believe how much smoke there was... remember how thick it was, and how rapidly it engulfed the entire city? ...and covered everything in a thick 'sludge like' fine powder? I recently learned what 'Pyroclastic Flow' is, and I suggest you google it, and watch the video on it in the web address at the bottom of this article. Now rather than take all your precious time, and newspaper space, trying to convince you, just let me direct you to some videos on the internet, and afterward, it will be your task, to carry it to the people who do not have that luxury, like I tried to do on July 4th, 2006, in the Bolinas Parade.

I am not one to profess doomsday, or spout out conspiracy theories. But when five years after these events, I find a 20 year professor of physics and astronomy, at Brigham Young University, Steve Jones, and an entire movement that he has sparked with his theory on how the towers were a controlled demolition.

Go to Again, the dry heaves, as I watched Steve Jones speak, I began to tremble, and actually wailed a couple of times in absolute shock and grief, tears were streaming from my eyes as the reality hit me, (as if now I knew, I was responsible for not telling anyone back then), what my heart told me I had witnessed, on 9/11 2001 was true.

I had begged to believe that I had only witnessed an act of terrorism, because our great military was 'gona' get those guys' and protect us, and the terrorists were sure going to be sorry for what they did.

In the last month, I have exhausted myself researching every avenue I can find, mostly trying to prove this theory wrong, but all I did was find the hard evidence that proves these three buildings had set charges to bring them down in that fashion! Yes you heard that right...PROOF! The news, and the government destroyed the evidence, immediately, and covered it up... but there are eyewitness accounts, and videos, they kept clear out of the media.

So I just want to come to you, 'the little people', of a small village, as the mother of Magica, and Louie, Bolinas, and Stinson Beach, Ca., and tell anyone who will listen that... 911 TWIN TOWERS was a CONTROLLED DEMOLITION! ...and here is your PROOF!!!! The Official 911 Commission Report is riddled with omissions, hence it is widely known as the '911 Omissions Commission'. I have also dedicated a site to exposing the truth of 911. I will provide a lot of information there...

OK, so what does this mean? And who did it? Just go to this address on the internet and watch the videos. After the first one, you will know that this was not a 'Terrorist Attack' on America, it was the "AMERICA'S GOVERNMENT ATTACKING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE"!!

Fifty-eight-percent of Americans now believe there was a cover up, and want to see a real investigation, and not the 'omissions commission report'. We need 100% of the Americans people to take back our freedom and uphold our constitution!
