What Can Be Done About The Climate Crisis

Sustainable Marin and Waterplanet Environmental Broadcast Service (WEBS) present: A CONVERSATION WITH ROSS GELBSPAN, Author of "The Heat Is On" and " Boiling Point," Moderated by Peter B. Collins, Host, "All American Talk Radio."

This is an invitation to hear Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter Ross Gelbspan discuss what Marin, and the World can do to stop the mounting Climate Crisis.

Focus will be on those steps Marin can take immediately that will have the greatest effect in stabilizing global warming and climate change, leading us to more quality jobs, cleaner industry and a far wealthier, more peaceful and safer world. We want to scale up and impart urgency to this transition.

The Program Includes Guest Speaker Paul Fenn, author of California's Community Choice Law, In discussion with Ross Gelbspan concerning key Marin issues and priority solutions to expanding sustainable energy and jobs in our local communities. Marin Supervisors Charles McGlashan and Susan Adams, Randy Hayes (Sustainability Coordinator, City of Oakland), Kevin Danaher (Global Exchange) and other environmental notables will also participate.

A "must" for local political and business leaders, water officials, educators, planners and civic activists.
