Environmental Training Offered
Get the Dirt on the Environment by signing up for the 32nd Training Program of the Environmental Forum of Marin (EFM).
The 2004-2005 Training Program begins in September, and students meet every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through January, 2005. Class size is limited to 35 students, and subjects include environmental philosophy, geology and soils, solid waste, oceans, bays and estuaries, population and sustainability, environmental economics, energy, toxics, agriculture, land use, transportation, open space, wildlife, plants, water and watersheds.
Many class sessions are field trips to various areas of Marin County to view the environment under discussion. This training prepares students to become environmental advocates in many areas of interest.
