Volunteer Advocates Needed

The Marin CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Program is looking for men and women who would like an opportunity to work within the Juvenile Court System to affect the outcome of a child's life. As a trained CASA volunteer you will meet and work with dedicated professionals who are performing the job of protecting children and helping parents get the services they need to reunify their families. The skills needed for this volunteer job include: communication, problem solving and listening skills combined with common sense and long term (2 years) commitment to a child. People with bilingual and bicultural skills and experience are particularly needed.
