Michael "Mickey" Thomas Cummings

October 18, 1945- March 30, 2001

Mickey moved to Bolinas in 1968. He was a printer of the early Bolinas Hearsay News, a bass player in the local band Living Proof, a participant in community theater and the arts, as well as just being a really sweet, great guy. He and his wife Helen and sister Debbie founded Cummings' Attractions Productions producing local music, dance, and theater such as "The Harvest of Dance" 1978-1983. Mickey moved to Maui with his family in 1985, but moved back to the Bay Area in 1995. Mickey passed at the age of 55 in Pittsburg, California.

Mickey is survived by his son Jamison, his daughter, Julia, and his former wife, Helen. On Saturday July 21, at the end of Wharf Road at sunset there will be a service to spread his ashes. After the service, a celebration of Mickey's life will be held at the Bolinas Community Center featuring Dave Murray and other musicians from Living Proof, as well as a presentation of slides, pictures, and posters from the days of Bolinas Community Theater. His family invites you to join them and visit with old friends in celebrating the life of their friend, father, and brother, Mickey Cummings.
