Mootown News - Talking Trash

By Judy Borello

Well, folks, Clinton finally copped to lying under oath. Think about if he would have come clean the first time, he would have saved the country millions of dollars and loads of grief. It vindicates Ken Starr and, because of the abuse that it caused so many people, I am very glad it's all over!

It was a stellar week for the "Sorry" Democrats. Jesse Jackson copped to having an affair while he was in the midst of counseling Clinton over the Monica-gate matter. Jesse Jackson sired a baby girl from his illicit affair and the story was broke by the Enquirer because the left wing media didn't want to touch it. It would be interesting to find out if the funds for the girlfriend's house (approximately $350,000), the $40,000 in moving the lady to the new house, and the $10,000 a month for child support is being paid by the Reverend's Rainbow Plus - a tax-free organization.

Then it came out this week that the Honorable Willy Brown has sired an illegitimate child. Now both of these men are in their sixties - an age in which you would think they'd know better. They either wanted to top the Republican Bob Dole's Viagra commercial or, of course, being for abortions, they forgot about birth control!

Honest to God, you can't dream this up in your wildest imagination.

I was so glad to hear that President Bush is for private property rights for US citizens. Forty percent of the United States' land is owned by the government. Eighty six percent of Nevada and 80 percent of Utah are both over-taken by governmental ownership. No more prayer in school, no more pledge of allegiance to the flag of the USA. Over 50 percent of our hard-earned money is paid out in taxes, and then a lot of it is squandered. It all adds up to socialism. And in the Communist countries, they're wise enough to know that giving the land back to private ownership is much more productive, and we (the USA), the leader of the free world, are going in the opposite direction.

Two thirds of Marin County is government owned and that's why the county is always thinking of new ways of taxing the small one third of us left to pass the burden of running "Big Pink." I'm afraid "Big Pink" is turning into "Big Red"!

Blessings: If you have food in the fridge, clothes on your back, and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75 percent of the people in the world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are amongst the top eight percent of the world's wealthy. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing that someone was thinking of you, and further more, you are more blessed than two billion people in the world who cannot read at all!

P.S. So when the next rolling black-out hits you, remember how blessed you are to be living in the state of California in its brilliant decision to deregulate.

For Linda and Laurie Sturdivant: Both of you sisters have a unique energy level and a spirit of great kindness. I appreciate everything you've done at the Old Western Saloon (recycling, the bathrooms, etc.) and Laurie, all I can tell you is that this community is so very much enriched by your dutiful presence! THANKS LADIES!
