Positions on the Propositions for the May 19 Special Election
Differing positions on the Propositions for the May 19 Special Election will be discussed at a free public meeting sponsored jointly by Democracy for America-Marin and Progressive Democrats of Marin on Tuesday, May 5, 7pm - 9pm, at the Community Room, #201, Town Center, 770 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera. Panelists will include Paul Cohen, Director of Public and Governmental Relations, Northern California Carpenters Regional Council and Chair, Marin Democratic Party; Mal Burnstein, attorney; Rick Walthen, Political organizer for the California Teachers Association. We anticipate a spirited evening of panel presentations, discussion and questions and answers with the audience.
