Coastal Post Is Late And Fading

We're publishing a week late this month. It took an extra week for subscription, advertising and contribution revenue to match the costs of the paper. It's about cash and carry and paying the bills at this point.

Even though we have the added dimension of a two and one-half year assault on the paper's advertisers and distribution locations by Zionists, newspapers are shrinking or disappearing everywhere in the US. The Rocky Mountain News has closed. The SF Chronicle is at risk. Scores of other papers have disappeared or are fading.

This has serious implications for our democracy and our way of life. How do we read about local and national issues? How do we call our business leaders and politicians to task? How do we praise the good, criticize the bad and call attention to evil?
