A Healthy Dose Of Art In The Valley
A Healthy Dose of Art is a group show of local artists reflecting on all aspects of the subject of health: physical health, psychological health, spiritual health, environmental health-good and ill health. Works include painting, sculpture, digital prints and ceramic tile painting. The show will run from October 1st to 30th. Featured artists include Laura Kradjan Cronin, Veronica Buros Kleinberg (Untraditional Pet Portraits), Karyn Klinger (collection of Bonnie Raitt, etc.), Judith Selby Lang (Electric Works Gallery), Haley Morgan, Larry Rippee (All-Atomic Comix, Berkeley Barb cartoonist), Molly Rea, Sean Sullivan, Justine Tot Tatarsky (San Francisco World Wall for Peace) and a special selection of "The Face of Aids" by Jackie Kirk.

Sunday, October 12th, 4-7pm: The public is welcome to attend the artists' reception.
Thursday, October 16th, 2-6pm: The show is being held in conjuction with the San Geronimo Valley Health Day. The public is welcome to view the show and take advantage of the numerous health services and information booths at the Community Center during that time.
This extensive free health event will provide, basic health screenings, free flu shots, free nutrition consultations, dental screens, breast exams, information about low-cost health insurance programs for kids, prescription discounts, health insurance eligibility and enrollment information and information about holistic health from herbalists, nutritionists, acupuncturists and homeopathic practitioners. The health event is part of an expanded series of Valley Health Days promoting health and health access at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center. This all takes place in a fun, friendly, family environment that the Community Center is known for.
