Sonoma State University's Students for Media will celebrate the birthdays of John Coltrane and Ray Charles in a jazz-hip hop benefit for Project Censored.
The benefit will be held at Sweet Lou's at 18201 Old Redwood Highway in Cotati, Ca. September 23rd, at 10:00 p.m. Headlining will be San Francisco Jazz Mafia's ShtotgunWedding Quintet featuring freestyle rapper Dublin, Adam Theis on trombone, Joe Cohen on saxophone, P. Dubb on drums, DJ Aspect on turntables. Opening performance will be by freestyle rapper Zealous and DJ 20/20.
Music will play all night so you can shimmy and shake all night long in an evening to remember.
Admission : $10 at the door. All ages welcome.
