Demonstrations Up And Down Highway One
California One
For Peace will stage a banner protest on Feb. 19 from Noon to 2 p.m. Bodega Go-pher
Peace in conjunction with West Marin Alliance For Peace and Justice, Marin
Peace and Justice Coalition and other community groups will coordinate the
demonstrations. The groups say it is time to stand up for the ethic of peace.
The coastal communities, which are connected by Highway One and united in
opposition to America's military actions in the Middle East, wish to offer an opportunity for
like-minded people to express their views about alternatives to "war on
terrorism."
