Jerry Garcia grew up in the Excelsior district in San Francisco. To pay tribute to his memory, the Friends and Advocates of Crocker Amazon/Excelsior are having a birthday bash in his honor at the Greek style McLaren Park Amphitheatre. Food, live music (The Mystery Cats, Michael John Ahern, Grapefruit Ed, along with surprise guests) and, of course, birthday cake!
